How would it be if you didn't exist,
If we'd never met. If you'd never kissed
Me softly, like I was a fragile rose.
How would it be, if we never chose,
To be together as two- bonded as one
Enjoying this life, having so much fun
Kissing 'til sunrise, dancing 'til dark,
How would it be, without that spark?
Logic dictates, if you were never here,
I wouldn't know you (or miss you) but, I fear,
Our two souls connect... Limits do not exist.
So whether I knew you or not,
You'd still, somehow, be missed.
Okay okay okay... this is just a bit of fun. I wrote it right after my second anniversary and I would have given it to that special guy except ... well, I personally don't think it's good enough for him :P Its just a fun little poem, about what it means to feel truly connected to someone, in such a way that it feels like you've known them forever. They are a part of you, because you care for them so much. This can be true for a friend or a boyfriend or whatever I feel... at the time I felt like a very giddy teenage girl straight after her first kiss or something XD :P but in truth I love that feeling (who doesn't?)... for that reason I love this ^. Maybe the rhymes aren't perfect, it might not make much sense at the end, but to me it does. If you've felt this way before you'll know what I mean. It's good to get a happy poem out :P
C + C, of course! :)
