Literature Text

Whispered painful words of purely lust
Which hid themselves in her love's sweet breath,
Turned a 'maybe' to a 'want', then to a 'must'
And held no remorse from life to death.

A terrible beauty... who held unholy power within
Abused, most certainly, in her hands. But only then...
Such emotion would evoke such tainted sin
Oh! How her fortunes have corrupted honest men!
Antony and Cleopatra fuelled. The last line is a line said by Antony:
"Oh my fortunes have corrupted honest men!"
But it truely sounds like something Cleopatra should be owning up to.
The power women seem to have over men is terrifying.
Equality in relationships FTW! :P
